What is psychological sustainability?
Psychological sustainability refers to an individual's ability to maintain a healthy and balanced psychological state over time. Factors that contribute to psychological sustainability include having a sense of purpose and meaning in life, feeling a sense of control over one's circumstances, having positive social contacts, feeling a sense of self-worth, and experiencing positive emotions such as joy and satisfaction. In addition, psychological resilience involves the ability to adapt to and cope with stressors and challenges.
